Friday March 12th was the Ohio Campground Owners Assocation 2010 Spring Conference and Trade Show. The conference gave light on several current trends in Ohio Tourism Industry. At this point we all know that in these economic times people are looking to maintain their summer vacations, but are looking to do so without the expensive travel costs. This trend has actually worked out favorably in Ohio's favor. More people are finding weekend attractions in Ohio rather than going to Mytle Beach or Dysney Land. The research that Amir Eylon presented showed that Ohio has been relatively unaffected by the economic downside. The HOCKING HILLS area in particular has shown growth in tourism. This was evident from the fact that Mr. Eyon constantly referred to the Hocking Hills in his presentation. There is no doubt that the Hocking Hills has become known as an Ohio destination. We look foward to this upcoming year
